Briefly, I was born and raised in the harbour city of Genoa, Italy.
I lived and studied in Nantes (France) and later moved to Hamburg (Germany), where I am currently based.
I'VE ALWAYS BEEN DEEPLY FASCINATED BY VISUAL MEDIA CULTURE
I dedicated most of my nights to studying and practicing it, mainly via photographic technique.
I first experimented with scanning techniques, then moved to digital photography. Later, I started to shoot most of my photos on film, while at the same time getting more and more involved in computer art and neural art algorithms.
In 2017, I co-founded EIKONPROJECT.ORG, a platform to promote independent digital art and photography via editorial projects, exhibitions, and networking.
In 2021, I curated the art exhibition LA CARNE DEL MONDO in Genoa. Given the very warm reception of the first edition, a second edition has been brought to Turin in 2022.
Again in 2022 I curated the visual art installation PARTICLES @ TEST PRESS for the Test Press Open Air in Turin.
In 2023, I curated the art installation ALGO{RITMI} in Turin.
